Take it to the Next Level

To what lengths will you go to make yourself remarkable to your clients? If you’re not willing to think harder, research more, and care more than your competition, guess what? You lose!

Why should a customer change their relationship, change their habits and take a risk to work with you? Because you can get a better price? Really? Is that the kind of customer you want? If they’ll change to you for a nickel, they’ll drop you for a nickel.

The only way to turn customers into fans is to be deserving. The only way to be deserving is to make such a remarkable impression and give them something new. Somewhere along the way, you’ll have to make a heart connection. You’ll need to change how they feel.

To take it to the next level, you need to know why you want that relationship. If you’re just seeking a transaction, both of you will know it. When you get genuinely interested in your customers’ problems—and have a strong desire to help them solve those problems—they’ll know that as well.

When your customers know that you are excited about helping and not just excited about making a sale, they’ll be ready to move with you to the next level. You need to learn what your customers want to create, accomplish, feel or have. You need to understand and be able to articulate their challenges. When they know that they are the reason that you get up in the morning—and that thinking about their problems really juices you—they will feel it and they will want what you have to offer.

Take it to the next level and offer them your heart, your passion, your art and your best. Help them be a better version of themselves when they work with you.
